I’ve been making dice bags over at Greyed Out for six years now, and with this dice bag I tried something utterly new that I’ve never done before. I stepped out of my comfort zone and found a way to do hazard stripes in fabric that I think works particularly well, and looks striking on the gaming table.
For the Siegebreaker, I took a number of diagonally cut yellow and black strips of fabric, and sewed them together individually. These then got sewn together into the outer shape of the dice bag, before a lining was put in and all the various pieces were sewn into the final form. I was surprised at how long it took, but I expect that production time on further Siegebreakers will be reduced now that I have a feel for what I’m doing.
A dice bag like this would be perfect for an army of Iron Warriors, matching their cold and dangerous aesthetic and their penchant for siege warfare.
